The magnificent Sun was beating down hard today in Kanto as a Fox of nearly 18 years of age plants himself on a tree stump, his Green and Black Robe absorbing the bright Sunlight. I frown as I cross my arms, my tail furling and unfurling with rage as I shake my head, muttering as I look down at the Safari Counter. 100 Steps Left...thankfully, I knew my way 'round the Safari Zone...but traveling wasn't the issue. The real issue was what I was looking for...a Tauros. Number 128...A Pokémon that I never put a whole lot of thought into...but I wanted one now, I genuinely wanted one...Reaching my Red paw into my pocket, I pull out my final Safari Ball, a look of annoyance in my Hazel Brown eyes.

Honestly, I stopped counting how many Pokedollars I've burnt buying these dumb things...Since one trip cost 500 Pokedollars, the number was probably somewhere between 3500 or 4500 Pokedollars...Sure coulda used that much money elsewhere...You know, whats with the Safari Ball anyway? It looks neat, yeah, but it works just like a Pokeball...whatever the case, I was liking the Safari Zone less and less with each trial...My ears perk up as my concentration shatters, my predatory eyes quickly darting off into the bushes. The foliage rustles, and a Nidorhino waddles out, his Purple belly squashed in between his legs. Holding back the urge to crush the Safari Ball in frustration, I throw the little...err...somewhat big guy some Bait, a small smile on my muzzle. "Dig in, bud, I sure as fluff don't need it..."

The Nidorhino's ears perk up as a big dumb smile forms on his face. He happily trots over and starts eating, growling as he gulped down the Pink Bait to aid a few inches to his gut. Making a somewhat bold move, I throw out another pawful of bait, drawing in the Poison Type even closer. It was risky 'playing' with the Pokémon in the Safari Zone, as you weren't allowed to bring in your Team...but honestly, I didn't care all too much. The worst I've seen was a Scythor minding his business in the woods and two Kangaskhan brawling for territory. I reach out slowly, resting my paw on the Nidorhino's back.

He flinches, but returns to eating. Making an even riskier move, I lower my paw down to him, offering to paw feed him. He smiles again before sitting down on his haunches, happily lapping up the Pink Food from my paw. I gasp, my tail wagging off my tree stump. A giggle rises up as I watch him eat, smiling wide as I felt his jaws grazing against my fur, his greedy tongue probing and licking the last few crumbs. The Nidorhino looks up and rewards me with a satisfied belch before scampering off, a purr rumbling from my chest as he disappeared in the tall grass.

I laugh before standing up, wiping my slightly moist paw on my Robe. I loved the Nido Line, especially Nidoking...something about that Toxic Titan's belly just made me smile...but I wasn't looking for another Nidoking, as I had my handsome Nidoking named Yaldaboath resting in his Pokeball back at the Safari Zone entrance. Maybe I was just wasting my time...heck, I could easily catch a Tauros in Kalos...but I was determined to capture a Tauros from Kanto. The ones from Kalos were never as fat or as bulky...

Why I was talked back into Kanto, I have no idea. But I was here, and I just had to work with it. It felt somewhat good to be back, honestly. Except for this part...Finding a Dratini wasn't going to be too hard, but finding a Tauros would be...My ears stand up straight as I get up on the tree stump, cupping my paws over my eyes as I look far and wide over the grassy plains below. According to my research, of which I somewhat doubted, Tauros were VERY rare in this location...however, not as rare as in the rest of the Safari Zone, so that was at least somewhat comforting...

Something moves down below, trudging through the tall Yellow-Orange grass with ease. My pupils dilate as I grab the Safari Ball, hope filling my eyes. "Come on...come on...please, I've been here for hours..." Gripping the Safari Ball, I wind my arm back, ready to go all out for the Bull Pokémon. But just as the rustling came to a stop...A Chansey pokes her head out. Nope...no, that's not a Tauros...In response, I throw my arms into the air before clawing at my face in anger. I could literally feel the rage building inside of me, like a dam ready to burst. "All I want...is a Tauros...Is that so much to ask for!?"

The Chansey, startled by my presence, frantically runs away into the overgrowth, leaving an angry Fox behind. It was just one Bull Pokémon...literally dozens of them roamed the Savannah! WHY WASN'T I FINDING ANY!? My rage spikes as I throw down the Safari Ball, howling spitefully as I sit back in the grass, huddling up and burying my muzzle in my knees. "It wouldn't be so bad, Justin said...Tauros were in the Safari Zone he said...I...I can't...I just can't..." I smack the Safari Ball away with my tail before resting my head on my kneecap, the little Green-Camouflaged Ball rolling away into the grass. My ears droop in disappointment as I look down at the counter wrapped around my wrist, Safari Counter having dropped from 100 to about 83...not that those last 83 steps were going to make a difference...

A few Venemoth flutter overhead, a pair of Doduo watching curiously from the bushes. A Nidorina and the Nidorhino from earlier scamper into the clearing with me, the two Poison Types approaching my huddled up form. The Nidorina looks over to the Nidorhino, shaking her head as she growled with uncertainty. My ears perk up as I slowly pull my head out from the Green and Black abyss that my Robe made up, the smallest of smiles on my muzzle. Nidorhino barks and happily licks at my tail, smiling back at me nudged my foot with his claw.

"Hi...I didn't think I'd see you again...Do you want so more food?" He smiles and nods quickly, Nidorina doing the same as she barked out her hunger. I snicker before reaching into my back pocket, resting the last of the bait at their feet, the two Pokémon eagerly digging in. Maybe I would catch one of them...I only had one Safari Ball at the moment, but I could get some more with the next trip through...then I could catch them both! I didn't need them, but they were awfully nice...that, or they just wanted to butter me up for more food...

I pat Nidorhino on the head before rubbing Nidorina's back, purring silently at the feel of their armored hides. I had grown immune to their Poison from the constant exposure of raising an entire Poison Team, thankfully...But their sharp spikes still felt pleasant against my bare paw pads. Two happy sighs ring out as they cuddle up to me, Nidorhino nuzzling behind me and letting me lay against him as Nidorina nuzzles under my legs, allowing me to happily lay back with them. Nidorhino lays his head in my lap as Nidorina lays her head on my feet, all three of us smiling with content.

We were all nice and set to take a nap when my stomach grumbled, awakening the sleepy Pokémon. A smirk crosses Nidorhino's face as he helps me up, Nidorina crawling out from beneath my legs as I stand up, brushing the twigs and dirt from my cloak. "Mmm...I'm gonna head out and grab a bite to eat at Celadon City, all right? I'll come back...hey...whats...whats wrong?"

Both pairs of Pokémon ears were standing on end as they snarl at me, my fur standing on end. I take a hesitant step backwards, feeling a bit betrayed by the two of them. However, I stumble and trip over the tree stump, landing on my belly behind it with a groan. The two then take off, bounding off into the bushes as fast as they could. And then I saw him...A Tauros! The bulky Bull Pokémon snorts as he lazily looks around the clearing, the Fox having vanished from sight. Tauros starts to lumber into the clearing, his three whip like tails swinging about.

Thankfully my Robe had drifted over me when I fell, my Black and Red fur being masked by the Green and Black fabric. I clench my paw over my muzzle, reaching for the Safari Ball tied to my belt...but it wasn't there...I gasp as the realization of discarding it hits me like this Tauros was probably about to, a lump of anxiety forming in my throat. A shadow slumps over me as one of his slender, muscled legs stomps into the ground mere centimeters from the tip of my muzzle, the Tauros' hot breath hailing down on me.

Do I move, and try to run, or stay and try and capture him? A single charge from a Tauros could easily cripple me, and those horns of his could tear right through my flesh and fur like paper...no, less then paper! Throwing one of the rocks ever so 'graciously' given to me by the Safari Zone Staff would be suicide, and I was all out of Bait...with each thought, he grew closer, snuffling bluntly as he took a step over me, his gut brushing against my back. I choke back the purr as I crawl forward, my tail curling up to hide away in the grass.

My eyes start to frantically pan around through the tall grass, desperately searching for the Safari Ball. If I could just find it, then I stood a chance. One chance. If it failed...it was time to climb a tree. The mountain of flesh and leathery hide stomps past me, disappearing from sight. I start shifting with my paws now, I NEEDED that Safari Ball. Suddenly, the Tauros bellows and turns around, starring straight at me. The second he scratches his hoof into the ground, I get up on all fours and dash away, the Tauros charging after me.

With a roll, I slide past him, the Bull Pokémon just barely able to veer away from crashing head-first into a tree. Running in the oppsite direction, I vault over the tree stump before running as fast as I could into the tall grass, the almighty Sun's life giving beams reflecting off of a circular object. There it was! I gasp with joy as I scoop it up into my paw, quick-turning and preparing to throw. But the second I held the Safari Ball in the air, the Tauros came crashing into me, sending me into a barely conscious tail spin before hitting the ground like a pile of bricks, whining as I clenched my head.

"W-wait! I won't hurt you, I'm not a human! I wish to raise you, w-with love and care! I'll be the best Trainer you've ever had!" I yelp and whimper feebly as Tauros stands over me, his legs towering over me like meaty pylons. He smirks and snorts a cloud of breath into my face, my ears laying straight back. With a flick of my wrist, I chuck the Safari Ball at him, only for the Tauros to smack it out of the air with his tails, the Green and Brown ball tumbling to the ground before resting beside the tree stump, thoroughly out of my reach.

But...instead of smashing me into a bloody, fluffy pulp...he just stands over me, his rage filled eyes almost angry looking as mine did prior. Now, however, my eyes were filled with pure, unbridled terror. Would he sit on me to crush my bones, or he would he stomp my skull in? I didn't know, I didn't WANT to know...With a gulp, I carefully raise my empty paw up, trembling as I showed him my other paw. "S-see? No Pokeballs...I'm harmless! I...I've been looking for a Tauros like you a-all day..."

The Bull Pokémon slowly tilts his head, sniffing at my paws with mistrust, the smell of Bait faintly stuck to my paw pads. "My name is Anubis...you probably don't care, but...let's be friends, o-ok? If you let me catch...bring you with me...I guarantee that you will have a much happier life...I will feed you, and play with you, and you'll never have to worry about being forcefully captured by a human...d-doesn't that sound nice?"
He firmly nods his head up and down, his horns coming dangerously close to my face.
"J-just trust me...ok? Nice Tauros...I'm friendly...and...you can be friendly..."

My right paw settles in his neck fur as my other carefully rests on his head, gulping nervously as a shaky smile crossed my muzzle. I then began to comb my claw through his rough neck fur, patting his head with my other paw. He releases a gentle snort of delight before the smallest fragments of a smile crosses his snout. I was so close...just a little more, and he'd be mine...

And then his stomach growled...The herbivore licks his lips as he brings his head down to mine, opening his maw and taking a bite out of my Green and Black cloak. He probably thought it was part of the grass, so let out a small whimper of distress as I gently push at his head with my paws. He must have liked the taste of it or the feeling of it sliding down his throat, as he came back for a second, and then a third bite, his molars tearing my beloved robe to shreds. With a deep swallow, he sighs before looking back down at me, my Red and Black fluffy chest exposed.

He slowly and methodically licks his lips this time as he takes a step closer, opening his maw over my head and hovering closer, my pupils dilating into frightened slits. No sooner did I start to beg was my muzzle slid into his gullet, Tauros murring loudly as he wrapped his muscular tongue around my muzzle, taking a small gulp and pulling my head into his moist, tough lips. I try to pull away, but his tongue marches onward, assaulting my face with hot saliva as he takes another small swallow, my head being packed into his mouth. His fuzzy cheeks swell out like a Pachirisu's as his warm tongue rolls over my vision, my eyes shutting just in time before another wave of licks led the next swallow.

Tauros pushes his open jaws down my body, his molars harmlessly grinding my neck into his gullet, a deep moan of pleasure jumbling from my jaws. My ears are glued flat to my skull as my muzzle is pulled into his throat, my legs kicking frantically on the outside. I could shout for help without his saliva being shoved down my throat, and I couldn't fight back, as his next swallow tightens the downward descent, my shoulders being crushed in. I whine and keep struggling, the Bull 'rewarding' my squirming with a happy groan, his stomach rumbling eagerly as the heat within his tight esophagus grew.

Another swallow stuffs my arms into his mouth, my paws twitching feebly and grabbing at the air for some sort of leverage. Finding none, they too soon slip past his lips, my upper body barely putting a bulge on his gut. If he was able to get me this far, then he'd be able to polish me off with no trouble. A smirk crosses Tauros' snout as he once again pushes his open jaws forward, greedily wolfing down my tubby Foxy belly with gusto, salivating as his jaws were unnaturally forced to stretch, his three tails wagging with pleasure as he threw his head back, my White gut being painted and plastered with hot, sticky Tauros slobber before being crammed into his throat, his neck bulging from the effort as his muscles pushed harder and harder to finish this meal.

I start to punch and claw at the walls of his stomach, not a single dent nor puncture wound being put in the fleshy prison, my eyes starting to water up. I fight back with all my might, the Smokey Grey Frill around my neck rupturing out and grazing against the stomach walls, but to no avail. If anything, the mini acupuncture sent shivers of bliss down the Bull's spine as he finally stuffed in my legs, clumsily slurping my tail up before belching heftily, shaking the saliva from his snout as he watched his gut swell up, the struggling of an alive being like a feeling of nirvana to the should-be herbivore.

Once my legs and tail join me in sitting in digestive enzymes, my eyes drift shut as I start to weep, feelings of regret and loss mutilating my subconscious. "P-please, Tauros...I beg of thee...w-would such a noble and handsome beast like thineself slay one that is s-smitten? I want, I need to live...but...I doubt you understand, how I feel...maybe you think I deserve this...maybe I do......but...please...think about him..." My ears start to droop as I slink back, my Frill drooping lifelessly as I lay my head back against the wall of his stomach, whining softly as a sensation akin to tingling infected my tail, the Mucus-Yellow enzymes slowly being filled with Black, Red, and White hairs...MY hairs...

Meanwhile, the Tauros had fallen silent, his eyes settling on his bulbous gut. Digesting another life form would take days, a week maybe! He'd be fine with that, but the Fox would feel all of it...his digestive track wasn't meant for meat, especially not in this quantity...he was a trespasser, all of them were...but burning and rotting alive was a punishment he couldn't administrate...Then there was a nudge, followed by a pair of whimpers. Feeling the nudge, I look around Tauros' gut, another pair of whimpers following suit.

It was the Nidorhino and Nidorina from before! Their eyes were full of tears as they nuzzled and listened to Tauros' gut, whining as the felt the definite form of the Fox from before. I let out a gentle whimper as I crawl over to the other side of Tauros' interior, resting a paw on the wall of his gut. Nidorhino gasps as he rests a claw on my paw, begging in Pokémon for my life to be spared. Tauros snorts grumpily before responding in Pokémon, audibly voicing his distaste for the creature locked up inside of him. And yet...he couldn't help but feel sympathy for him, as both Poison Types wished so eagerly, so whole heartedly for his return...that was the final nail in the coffin, his massive heart just couldn't take it.

My ears, ever so slowly losing their firmness, stand on end as Nidorhino and Nidorina squeak with joy, thankful smiles on their faces as they followed the lethargic Tauros over to the Safari Ball, the Bull Pokémon gazing upon it. With hesitation, he opens up and carefully engulfs the Safari Ball, the cool metal orb forming a tiny bulge in his throat before rolling into his belly.

An immensely relieved smile forms on my muzzle as I wrap my paws around it, holding it close to my empty, bare chest as I nuzzled the walls of Tauros' tummy, the Bull murring as he walked with Nidorhino and Nidorina at his side, the three of them making they're way back to the Safari Zone entrance...I'd have a lot of explaining to do when the Safari Warden sees a Tauros spitting me up, but, honestly...I really didn't care. What mattered most is that I finally had a Tauros...and it was absolutely worth the wait......~

The End~
Happy 20th Anniversary Pokémon~ And yes, I am late. You expected me to be early?~
So...In Pokémon Red, in the Safari Zone, Tauros has a 1%, 2%, 6%, or a 10% to appear...and because it's the Safari Zone, you have to catch them at full health...Nine Tauros later, I finally caught ONE.
